Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Axolkin Discord bot ("the Bot"), the axol.gg website ("the Site"), the Axolkin mobile or desktop app, or the Axolkin Discord Activity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please stop using Axolkin.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Axolkin. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the service.

3. Description of Service

Axolkin is a free-to-play creature-collecting game operated as a Discord bot. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.

4. User Accounts

Your Axolkin account is tied to your Discord account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Creating multiple accounts to gain an advantage or circumvent bans is prohibited.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, scripts, macros, or self-bots to interact with the Bot or app
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for unfair advantage
• Attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or interfere with our systems
• Harass, threaten, scam, or deceive other players through any feature
• Post, send, or display content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, or illegal in plaza chat, mail, bulletin posts, drawings, display name, player card caption, or any other user-facing field
• Share another person's private information without their consent (doxxing), including real names, addresses, phone numbers, or login credentials
• Spam, flood, or repeatedly post low-effort content to disrupt other players
• Sell, trade, or exchange virtual items, accounts, or currency for real money or items outside the game
• Impersonate Axolkin staff or other players, or pose as another user
• Circumvent moderation, filters, or account suspensions (including alt accounts to evade bans)
• Use Axolkin for any illegal purpose

6. User-Generated Content

"User-Generated Content" or "UGC" means anything you post, send, draw, or display in Axolkin's social features, including plaza chat messages, bulletin board posts, mail messages and drawings, your player card display name and caption, your home decoration layout, and any other content visible to other players.

You are responsible for your UGC. You represent that you have the right to post it, that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights, and that it complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

License to us. When you post UGC, you grant Axolkin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, store, and transmit that content as needed to operate the game. This includes showing your UGC to other players in plaza, mail, bulletin, and friend-visit features. The license ends when you delete the content (subject to retention windows for moderation logs described in the Privacy Policy).

Our right to remove. We may remove, hide, or refuse to display any UGC, and suspend or terminate accounts, when content violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or our judgment about user safety. We are under no obligation to monitor or pre-screen UGC and we don't endorse content posted by users.

Reporting. If you encounter UGC or behavior that violates these Terms, report it on our Discord server or email abuse@axol.gg.

7. Virtual Items & Currency

All in-game items, creatures, currency, and progress are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. You do not own virtual items — they are licensed to you as part of the game. We may modify, remove, or reset virtual items at any time for game balance or other reasons.

7. Server Administrators

Discord server administrators who add Axolkin to their server are responsible for ensuring the Bot is used appropriately within their community. We reserve the right to remove or restrict the Bot from any server at our discretion.

9. Intellectual Property

All content associated with Axolkin — including but not limited to artwork, text, game mechanics, and code — is owned by Axolkin and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any Axolkin content without permission. This does not affect the rights you retain in your own user-generated content (see Section 6).

10. Enforcement & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Axolkin at any time, with or without cause or notice. Actions may include content removal, warnings, progress resets, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, or removal of the Bot from a server. Enforcement decisions are made at our sole discretion. Repeated or serious violations of our Community Guidelines may result in permanent bans without prior warning.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Axolkin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse, support, or vouch for user-generated content posted by other players.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Axolkin, including loss of data, virtual items, or harm caused by other users' content.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Axolkin and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your user-generated content, or violation of these terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding Axolkin, please contact us on our Discord server first so we can attempt to resolve it informally.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Axolkin after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
