How It Works

Section titled “How It Works”
  1. Place two compatible Axols in your pond
  2. Use /pond breed pair to start courtship
  3. Every 15 minutes, the pair has a 6–14% chance to produce an egg
  4. Once progress reaches 85%, an egg is guaranteed
  5. The egg goes to your nursery for incubation
  6. Use /axol hatch when the egg is ready

Use /pond breed check to monitor progress and /pond breed stop to cancel.

Incubation Times

Egg incubation time depends on the parents’ rarity (the higher rarity parent determines the timer):

Incubation has a ±15% variance — actual times will vary slightly.

Milestone reductions stack to reduce incubation time:

  • Hatch 100 eggs → -10%
  • Hatch 1,000 eggs → -10% (total -20%)
  • Hatch 5,000 eggs → -10% (total -30%)

Breeding Rules

  • Both Axols must be in your pond and have can_breed: true
  • Most same-variant pairs produce offspring of that variant
  • Some special combinations produce different or exclusive variants — experiment to discover these
  • Breeding-exclusive variants (like Shadow) can only be obtained through specific breeding combinations
